overview. interlace inc.
| |
Interlace Incorporated was established in 1996 as a not-for-profit
organization and has used exempt-purpose activities to fulfill its mission.
The organization is considered a Religious corporation adhering to
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Code Section 501(c)(3) (Internal
Revenue Service, 2003) and has acquired permanent status as a
nonprofit by the IRS. The corporation was established to provide focused,
specialized training and support for individuals to acquire the necessary
background and experience to be better prepared for service as Aviation
Missionaries.
In October of 1996 Interlace Incorporated established a formal
relationship with Mercy Air Ambulance, a division of Catholic Health Care
West, located in Redding, California, to provide contract aviation
maintenance technician service for their air ambulance fleet that was
comprised of 3 complex twin-engine aircraft and one helicopter. Through
the aforementioned endeavor, Interlace was afforded an environment to
fulfill our mission as a not-for-profit corporation engaging in exempt-
purpose activities.
The company has maintained contract services with Mercy Air Ambulance
and other aviation companies in the Redding area with an outflow of
operational expenses and trainee support matching the income. Currently
the employee base has grown from one full-time paid employee to five
providing both maintenance and pilot services.
We have continually striven to provide the highest level of quality
customer service; the longevity of our association with Mercy Air
Ambulance is a testament to our commitment.
With a proven history of providing specialized aviation services, Interlace
Incorporated is proposing Tribal Air to provide services
for the Native American tribes in Northern California.
